Dr. Rashmi Saluja led a high-level India–Vietnam business and institutional engagement focused on advancing economic diplomacy, trade, investment and cross-border partnerships across textiles, manufacturing, automobiles, electric mobility, infrastructure, hospitality and tourism.

At Bitexco Group, a leading Vietnamese conglomerate with interests spanning textiles, fibre, real estate and infrastructure, Dr. Saluja explored joint ventures, technology exchange, supply-chain integration and market access, building on the complementary strengths of India and Vietnam. The engagement was attended by Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Head of Trade Office, Embassy of Vietnam.

At the Vietnam Glorious Spring Fair 2026, she engaged with enterprises across handicrafts, consumer products, textiles, food processing and lifestyle, identifying opportunities for bilateral trade, investment, distribution and market expansion.

A strategic dialogue with Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, MD & CEO – VinGroup Asia Operations and CEO – VinFast Asia, and former Ambassador of Vietnam to India, explored VinGroup and VinFast’s Indian expansion across electric mobility, sustainable transportation, infrastructure, hospitality and smart urban solutions, including avenues for strategic partnerships and investor engagement.

At the VCCI Tower, Dr. Saluja engaged Vietnamese entrepreneurs and sector representatives on market access, regulatory frameworks, structured B2B collaboration and global value-chain integration. Discussions with Mr. Bui Trung Nghia, Vice President of VCCI, advanced institutional cooperation, business delegations and MSME participation in international markets.

Engagements with Dolce Golden Group and Snow White Nga Minasi Hotel, Minasi Hotel Group, explored hospitality investment, boutique hospitality, tourism promotion and cultural exchange, complemented by participation in Tết celebrations.

The visit also included the Embassy of India in Hanoi, addressing bilateral trade, business challenges and sector-specific opportunities under the India–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
