Connecting Indian Enterprise with Global Markets

Dr. Rashmi Saluja hosted an Ethiopian Coffee Evening and farewell gathering in honour of Amb. Ms. Bizunesh Meseret Tegegne, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, at her residence in New Delhi. Bringing together friends and colleagues to celebrate the enduring friendship between India and Ethiopia.

Centred around Ethiopia’s rich coffee tradition, the evening created a warm setting for conversation, cultural exchange and reflection on the relationships that connect the two countries.

The evening brought together ambassadors, diplomats and distinguished guests representing several countries, reflecting the spirit of international engagement and people-to-people diplomacy. The gathering was attended by the Ambassadors of Botswana, Cuba, Lesotho, Uzbekistan and Zimbabwe, along with the Chargé d’Affaires of Cameroon and the Honorary Consul General of Comoros. Diplomats representing China, Nigeria and South Africa also participated in the evening, alongside friends and well-wishers from Ethiopia, Iran and Jordan.

The gathering underscored the importance of people-to-people ties, cultural understanding and sustained dialogue in building lasting international relationships.
