Dr. Rashmi Saluja leads India-Cuba Strategic Dialogue

Dr. Mrs. Rashmi Saluja played a key role in advancing India–Cuba economic engagement during a high-level strategic meeting with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba (CCRC) in New Delhi. The interaction brought together senior diplomatic and institutional representatives to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation across trade, investment, technology, and industrial development.
Dr. Rashmi Saluja highlighted the importance of building sustained business linkages between India and Cuba and encouraged greater collaboration that can translate into meaningful opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs in both countries.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Juan Carlos Marzan, Ambassador of Cuba to India, and Mrs. Maiky Diaz Perez, First Secretary, Embassy of Cuba, New Delhi, reflecting the strong diplomatic significance of the engagement. Senior CCRC representatives, including Mr. Antonio Carricarte Corona, President, CCRC, Mrs. Luisa Martinez, Director of International Division, and Mrs. Loida Rivera, Indian Desk Officer, also participated in the discussions.
The engagement concluded with a shared vision of strengthening India–Cuba relations through structured dialogue, business-to-business cooperation, technology partnerships, and enhanced avenues for trade and investment, further reinforcing the potential for a dynamic and mutually beneficial economic partnership.
